Saying he will gladly join the committee for the Champs-Elysées theatre, that it is impossible for him to join the "Société des autuers dramatiques" because in no way can he subscribe to its statutes, asking him nonetheless to negotiate with the society to accept the sale of Salome under the agreed upon conditions, adding that he approves of [Pierre] Gailhard's [Italian] translation but that before the solo parts are copied and distributed the contract with Fürstner must be perfect.
