Saying that Herr Treitschke has asked Seyfried to tell Ries that the coming Tuesday evening has already been promised to Mlle [Emilie?] Neumann, but suggesting that if Ries can extend his stay in Vienna Treitschke could give Ries the second ballet evening in early July, but only if Ries lays no claim to a fee, since in its present circumstances the Kàˆrntnerthor theatre cannot make fee contracts with foreign artists.
