Saying she will not be able to leave Königsberg as soon as expected, that she will not arrive in Riga before the end of the coming week, asking whether the period starting 7 February would be favorable for a concert and if it would be worth the trouble and expense of coming to Riga--travelling by night would be strenuous and shipping her piano would involve a duty of 40 rubles and freight charges of 700 silver rubles--, asking for the dates of the Russian Easter holidays, etc.
