Sending birthday greetings, saying that as much as she might wish he were with her, she knows that owing to his youthful strength he would not understand how many things she could not do with him, describing how, despite tiredness, she is enjoying Italy, expressing regret that they have only 10 days for Florence and, unfortunately, have "circular tickets" and must be in Chiasso at a certain time, saying how much she liked the Dom in Pisa, expressing pleasure that he is finally coming to Obersalzberg, where she will tell him more in person, mentioning the Herzogenbergs, saying the deepest impression so far was made by Luca della Robbia's Madonna, mentioning Michelangelo, sending greetings from Marie and Eugenia, etc.
