Autograph letter signed, dated : Wiesbaden July 16 1869, to Herr [Georg] Goltermann, 1869 July 16.

Asking if he will meet him if he travels to Frankfurt the following week, saying he would like Goltermann's help in meeting the pianist [Martin] Wallenstein, to whom he would like to give his new piano sonata, and adding that he would also like to play his cello sonata with Goltermann. The attribution of this letter, which is signed only "Scholz," to Bernhard Scholz is tentative, since the handwriting differs considerably from that of the letter to Baron von Loën (q.v.).
