Apparently answering a request for his autograph, writing out themes from the Danse macabre, Etienne Marcel, Le rouet d'Omphale, Samson et Dalila, La lyre et la harpe, the Third Violin Concerto (which he finished the day before), and telling the recipient (to make this envoi more agreeable) that the day before he received a request for an autograph to which he will not reply.
