Autograph letter signed, dated : Detmold Nov. 15 1841, to an unidentified recipient, 1841 Nov. 15.

Saying he is not sure when he will arrive in St. Petersburg, that rather than going from Düsseldorf to Cassel he must give concerts in Elberfeld, Créfeld, Munster, Osnabrück, etc., adding that in Frankfurt, Italy, and elsewhere he has met many persons who admire and remember the recipient, saying he must be in London on 15 May--he has accepted the direction of the Théâtre Allemand--, asking for news of the recipient's success at Covent Garden, mentioning Lefevre and a medal, etc.
