Saying that the story from Mozart's youth was charming: too bad that Fr. [Constanze] Mozart had already told it to her second husband [Georg Nikolaus Nissen] and that he had printed it earlier; asking why he has dawdled in Prague six times longer than necessary, saying he must return to Paris that winter, mentioning Berlioz's "Harmonielehre" and marriage and saying that Berlioz cannot establish himself anywhere and now must support himself writing articles, mentioning Boieldieu's death, Mme Eichthal, Rossini, Chopin, and others, etc.
