Autograph letter signed, dated : Vienna June 2 1920, to [Johannes] Itten, 1920 June 2.

Praising one of Itten's watercolors--"Die Ganztonskala--in allen Lagen--mit ihrem 'eingeborenen' Rhythmus--die 'Lösung' der Akkorde, der 'Melodien'--ein herrliches Farbenspiel"--, saying that he attended a Schoenberg rehearsal the day before, characterizing it as "Geräuscheffekte mit irgendeiner 'idealen' Aufmachung!"--it was confirmation of Itten's Klangfarbenlehre, "natürlich in negativen Sinne für Schönberg"--, adding that "In Schönberg ist nicht ein Funken von Muiskalität," saying that Bruno Adler promised him an honorarium for his op. 22 [Etudes for piano, dedicated to Schoenberg] but that he has yet to receive anything, etc.
