Autograph letter signed, dated : Auteuil], to [Pier Angelo] Fiorentino, [n.y., ca. 1854?] May 31].

Acknowledging the friendly way in which Fiorentino has inserted Halévy's name in the Constitutionnel and the Moniteur, asking about four little lines by de Rovray [Fiorentino's pseudonym] that appeared in the Moniteur: "Le public attendra paisiblement le Nabab de Mr Halévy," asking him to tell de Rovray that the lines distressed him, mentioning Scribe and Saint-Georges [the librettists of Le nabab], Les mousquetaires [de la reine], and inviting Fiorentino to dine.
