Thanking her for sending [the text of] Tiedge's oratorio Die Apostel am Pfingstfeste, expressing regret that it was not sent three months sooner since the first two parts of his own recently completed oratorio, Die Auferstehung, are the same as Tiedge's, explaining that Die Auferstehung is a continuation of Christi Grablegung, published the year before, and that the third part, Christi Himmelfahrt, should appear the next year, adding that he will speak with Tiedge about adapting the third part of Die Apostel as an Easter cantata, saying he travels to Berlin around March for a performance of Das Gesetz des alten Bundes, then goes to Dresden, Hamburg, London, sending greetings to Tiedge, mentioning his friend Bernden , etc.
