Autograph letter signed, dated : Bologna, 21 July 1770, to his wife in Salzburg, 1770 July 21.

Sending his and "Wolfgangerls" [i.e. Wolfgang Amadeus's] greetings on her and Nannerl's nameday, reporting on their travels, their activities in Civita Castellana, Loreto, Senigaglia, and Bologna, mentioning Brineschi [i.e. Giuseppe Prineschi], [Giovanni Luca (Gianluca) and Giuseppe Maria] Pallavicini, Hofmeister [i.e. P.L. Ostermayer?], Sigra. [Stefano] Uslenghi, Meissner, etc; with two postscripts in the hand of Wolfgang Amadeus: to his mother, sending affectionate greetings; and to his sister (in Italian), saying he does not yet know the title of the opera he is to compose in Milan; and a third postscript in Leopold's hand.
