Autograph letter signed, dated : Livorno, 7 June 1805, to André [i.e. Johann Andreas] Streicher in Vienna, 1805 June 7.

Thanking him for his letter of the 15th, saying that he cannot answer it at present, that he has several difficulties to overcome and that since the credit he wants to request from his Prinzipal depends mainly on Baron Schubart, with whom he cannot speak until Schubart's return from Pisa, he has at present only uncertain expectations, further discussing his plans to open a piano business and to sell Streicher's pianos, sending greetings to his mother [Constanze], asking after his brother [Franz Xaver Wolfgang], [his future step-father] Nissen, his aunt, mentioning Schultesius, Hofmann [i.e. Johann Wilhelm Hoffmann?], etc.
