Expressing surprise that Cortot wishes to leave for the United States tour on 21 September instead of 8 October, discussing a number of details about the contract and tour, deploring the fact that with only one performance in cities such as Philadelphia, Washington, New Orleans, etc., the tour takes on the appearance of a circus, adding that by leaving on 21 September they could only take the Chicago or the Espagne, both horrible ships, discussing the rehearsal schedule, mentioning Casadesus, Tardieu, etc.
