Thanking him for sending a copy of his Variations, expressing general pleasure at the printing, expressing regret that a few indications of bow strokes were forgotten, adding that a more serious error appears in the accompanying parts, explaining that the indication "Cantabile" applies only to the solo part, mentioning some music and a letter addressed to Hofrath Schmidt, saying he will have the pleasure of meeting Peters in person in four weeks, etc.
