Thanking him for a kind critique and all he did for her in London, expressing the hope that she will sing better next time and that "it will be less foggy as it hurts very much my voice, I am not used to the dampness of the air," reporting that in five recitals in Berlin in the past year she has introduced with great success English airs and songs "from Purcell to our own days," etc.
