Autograph letter signed, dated : [Naples?, 7 February 1835], to the lawyer Parola, [1835 Feb. 7].

Concerning her debt with Toguina [or Toquina?], saying that the rest--hair dresser, tailor--is "basso vestiario," that according to all her contracts she was only obligated to provide such basic clothing--shoes, hair dressing, hats--, when performing an opera set in modern times, but when playing an opera "in character"--[Rossini's] Barbiere, Semiramide, and Tancredi, Romeo [i.e. Bellini's I Capuleti e i Montecchi?], [Bellini's] Norma--all costumes are provided by the management, saying she gives him all these details because she does not want to be thought culpable, adding that the permission she has asked of the Duke for Lucca has cost her many more sacrifices than it has him, that the society has driven her mad with Rossi's opera, adding that Persiani's opera [Inès de Castro] is already in rehearsal, saying Frezzolini pleases her greatly as an actor, etc.
