Saying that the Fritzsch will gather from the Neue freie Presse that Hanslick has to some extent praised Grieg, pointing out ways in which Hanslick has misinterpreted Grieg's opinion of Wagner in Grieg's article on Schumann in the Century Magazine, saying that if possible he will send the recipient a copy of the magazine with the request that it appear in his periodical, saying the famous Böhmen have not played his string quartet op. 27 as well as Hilf and his colleagues, adding that Brahms is extraordinarily kind but that the whole business is certainly serious, mentioning Joachim, etc.
