Thanking him for his contribution to the monument for [August] Winding, discussing the founding of an International Society of Music, saying that in Norway there is almost no one with a special interest in it--Catharinus Elling, Aimar GroĢˆnvold in Christiania--saying that for Grieg, personally, the subject seems a little unclear, expressing regret that he will have to cancel all farewell visits, especially to friends living far away, etc.
