Saying that he hopes she will hear the Pavane that he has written especially for her salon, that M. [Robert] de Montesquiou has written words to go with the Pavane--"Il y a ajouté un ravissant verbiage: sournoiseries et coquetteries des danseuses, et grands soupirs des danseurs qui animeront singulièrement la musique"--, mentioning work on an "austère symphonie qui me donne bien de la peine," etc.
