Thanking him for his letter in response to Davis's telegram about the "Symphonic Consolidation;" with a carbon copy of Flagler's letter to Davis of 26 March saying that Tuesday's paper will contain an announcement of the consolidation of the Symphony Society of New York and the Philharmonic Society, and asking Davis to take Walter Damrosch's place on the new board of directors.
