Reporting on the success of his opera Macbeth in Munich, saying that those who saw it--including Dietrichstein and [Franz?] Lachner--have no doubt that it would be successful in Vienna, asking if any decision has been reached about performing the opera there, saying that the personnel of Treitschke's theatre--Mlle Sabina [sic] Heinefetter, Mlle [Jenny] Lutzer, Mr [Franz?] Wild, Staudigl--"est complet, et parfait pour cet ouvrage" and could give the score all the luster that it requires, mentioning M. Duport, etc.
