Autograph letter signed, dated : New York, 2 May 1910, to De Giacomino, 1910 May 2.

Saying that something that happened to him at the Posillipo restaurant reminded him of a story about King Edward: at the Caffe degli Inglesi in Paris the king took some inexpensive fruit and, when presented with a large bill, complained that it was probably because the fruit was rare. The head waiter explained with a smile that it was not the fruit that was rare, but a king!
