Daybooks (1748-1881), ledgers (1727-1884), bill books (1821-1829), letters, bills (to 1820, sample years 1830, 1840, 1850, 1859 thereafter), and other accounts. There is an account book for John Burleigh (father-in-law of George II), who owned a store in Newmarket; the volume covers the years 1764-1789. Included in the collection are wood and lumber accounts (1806-1833) and packet accounts (1818-1822) of George Frost II. There are also accounts for Mellen and Frost (1821-1827) and Mooney and Frost (1826-1836), and for Moses Hall, Durham (1817-1818).

George Frost (April 26, 1720 – June 21, 1796) was an American seaman, jurist, and statesman from Durham, New Hampshire. He was a delegate for New Hampshire in the Continental Congress from 1777 to 1779. Born in New Castle in the Province of New Hampshire, he moved to Kittery Point, Massachusetts (now part of Maine) following his father's death and was cared for by his uncle, William Pepperrell. The Frost family were merchants and keepers of a general store in Durham, N.H. George Frost I (1720-1796) carried on business in New London, Conn., Newcastle and Durham, N.H. (latter after 1770). John Burleigh owned a store on the banks of the Lamprey River in Newmarket, N.H. He was prominent in town politics and served as representative to the N.H. legislature in 1765, 1767, and 1770. Mehitable Burleigh (née Sheafe) became John's third wife in 1760.
