Frost family.

The Frost family were merchants and keepers of a general store in Durham, N.H. George Frost I (1720-1796) carried on business in New London, Conn., Newcastle and Durham, N.H. (latter after 1770). George Frost II (1765-1841) took over his father's business in Durham and also operated stores in Barrington and Northwood, N.H. George Frost III (1801-1879) and his brother, William P. Frost (1802-1893) managed the business as G. and W.P. Frost from about 1826.
