Daybooks, cash books, invoices, memorandum books, and unbound papers of a Boston firm which dealt in wholesale general store commodities, selling principally to firms in Maine. The firm was organized in 1835 and was succeeded by Fay and Morton. The collection includes accounts of both firms as well as separate accounts for Joel Fay and William Morton.
