Personal correspondence between Allen Tate, Mark Van Doren and his wife Dorothy Van Doren, mostly written by Tate. Also included are manuscript poems by Tate and Mark Van Doren, Christmas cards, photographs, and other items. Most of the photographs and some of the other material relate to Tate's young sons.
