Husband and wife Guy and Nell Foster Rogers were colonists at the Newllano colony (sometimes called New Llano), La., near Leesville in Vernon Parish. The Llano Colony was a socialist cooperative society which was organized in California in 1914. Some of its members migrated to Newllano, La., in 1918.
