Pickett, George T., 1876-1959.
George T. Pickett was a socialist, a member, and later a leader of the Llano Colony, a cooperative society which was organized in California in 1914. In 1918, part of the colony migrated to Newllano (sometimes called New Llano), Louisiana, near Leesville in Vernon Parish.
