The collection consists of letters, bill, and receipts (1852-1873); waybills (1871-1872); certificates (1852-1915); photographs, chiefly of Jefferson College; and printed items including newspaper clippings, programs, sheet music, including "The Old Church Bell" by Peytavin, and a genealogical brochure describing residents and history of Jefferson, St. Charles, St. John the Baptist, and St. James parishes. Bound manuscript volumes include 2 family photograph albums and a volume of music composed by Peytavin. Two bound volumes of published sheet music are also present.
