The World Hunger Relief Foundation thanks Fred Rogers for submitting a statement about Mother Teresa. His statement will appear in a CD/tape booklet accompanying a musical tribute to Mother Teresa. Fred Rogers' handwritten notes on the letter show great alarm at the fact that his statement will be used for fundraising purposes.

Mother Teresa Bojaxhiu, born Anjezë Gonxhe Bojaxhiu, was an Albanian-Indian Roman Catholic nun and missionary. She was born in Skopje, then part of the Kosovo Vilayet of the Ottoman Empire and lived most of her life in Kolkata, India. In 1950, she founded the Missionaries of Charity, a Roman Catholic religious congregation.
