In this letter, Fred Rogers responds to the NET's reasoning behind not pursuing new children's programming with Rogers and WQED. Rogers explains what he would like to produce: "my thinking is long range and my interest is in producing a daily children's program which would combine the best elements of entertainment and information within a framework which makes every element seem perfectly natural."
