Asa John Wyatt diary, 1861-1862 [manuscript].

Diary of Wyatt's Confederate service as an officer in Co. I, 21st Regiment, Virginia Infantry, while fighting in northern Virginia and the Shenandoah Valley. Wyatt was wounded at the Battle of Cedar Run on 9 August 1862 and died the next day.

Asa John Wyatt was born 10 February 1829, enlisted in Company I, 21st Virginia Infantry Rehgiment from Pittsylvania County, Va.
