This collection comprises Professor Geoffrey Morley-Mower's 1999-2001 correspondence to Richard K. McNealy, friend and cover illustrator of Morley-Mower's Memoir, Flying Blind which documents Wapiti biplane flying over Waziristan in the last days of British rule in India. The collection includes a late draft of Morley-Mower's Flying Blind; correspondence with artist, Richard McNealy; and images and copies of paintings used to illustrate the book.

Geoffrey Morley-Mower, 1918-2005, was born in London, England. He served 31 years with the Royal Air Force and was awarded the Distinguished Flying Cross and the Air Force Cross. His assignments included India, the Middle East, Gibraltar and Cyprus flying Hawker Hurricanes, American Mustangs, and subsonic jet aircraft.
