Louise Crawford was a Professor of Theory of Music and Assistant Professor of Piano at Coe College in Cedar Rapids, Iowa from 1916 to 1941. She was also a composer who spent her summers at the MacDonnell Colony in Petersborough, New Hampshire creating musical works.
