Journalist, local historian, and author, Dorothy Worrell was born in Boston, Massachusetts, in 1892. She earned an A.B. from Radcliffe (1915) majoring in economics and government, and also earned certificates from the Henry George School of Social Science (1919), Portia Law School (1919), and Babson Institute (1920).
