Frances Darling attended Radcliffe College (1914-1916) and was a classmate of poet and novelist Rachel Field. Darling served as children's librarian for the Chatham Square Branch of the New York Public Library, the Brookline Public Library, and the North End Branch of the Boston Public Library. Rachel Field, author, studied playwriting at Radcliffe, 1914-1918. She wrote plays, children's books, poetry, and novels.
