Abby Parsons was a member of the first class at Radcliffe. She was born in 1860 and attended the "Harvard Annex" from 1879 to 1883. She taught at Prospect Hill School in Greenfield, Massachusetts. In 1886 she married John MacDuffie, and in 1888 they founded the MacDuffie School for Girls in Springfield, Massachusetts.
