Robert Reid became interested in printing when he was given a printing press during his childhood. His years as a student at the University of British Columbia, where he graduated in 1949 with a Bachelor of Commerce, were spent experimenting with his press, producing imaginative ads for campus events. Biographical note: Architect; William Hazard came to Tucson, Arizona in 1942 and was licensed as an architect in 1949. He worked with Scholer, Sakellar and Faller, then later with Terry Atkinson. In 1959 he formed a partnership with Robert R. Reid.
