Photographer. Harold Cazneaux was born in Wellington, New Zealand in March 1878. His family moved to Adelaide in South Australia in 1889 and Cazneaux worked with his father at the Hammer & Co. photographic studio as a colourist and retoucher. Initially wanting to pursue a career an an artist Cazneaux also attended classes at the Adelaide School of Design. He moved to Sydney in 1904 to work for the same photographic studio and purchased his first camera, experimenting with pictorial photograp...
