Papers of Harold Cazneaux [manuscript]. 1952-2003.

Two xerox copies of an annotated script for a broadcast by Harold Cazneaux on the occasion of an exhibition of his work entitled 'A national tribute' (1952). Sydney photographer Monte Luke also takes a small part in the broadcast. The second part of the papers consists of notes about Cazneaux, by his daughter, Beryl Cazneaux (1978) and granddaughter, Sally Garrett.

Photographer. Harold Cazneaux was born in Wellington, New Zealand in March 1878. His family moved to Adelaide in South Australia in 1889 and Cazneaux worked with his father at the Hammer & Co. photographic studio as a colourist and retoucher. Initially wanting to pursue a career an an artist Cazneaux also attended classes at the Adelaide School of Design.
