Mrs. Gilmer Brenizer papers, 1846-1942.

The collection includes genealogical materials relating to the Moore, Waddell, Yeamans, Swann, Brownrigg, Wright, Gilmer, Brenizer, and related families; personal and family correspondence, including letters from her father, L. R. Waddell of Smithfield, N.C.; photographs; scrapbooks; clippings; and materials dealing with the Daughters of the American Revolution, United Daughters of the Confederacy, and various other ancestral societies. Also included is material relating to Mrs. Brenizer's work with the Forestry Division, U.S. Department of Agriculture, and a story written about the renovation of an 1810 house in Georgetown, Washington, D.C.
