Papers, 1886-1896.

The collection consists of photocopies of letters written to Parsons between 1886 and 1896, when he was president of the normal school. Most of the correspondents have last names beginning with R. Despite its partial nature, the collection gives a good idea of Parson's daily transactions. Of special importance is the correspondence of librarian Arthur Cunningham, biology chairman L.T. Rettger, and superintendent of public instruction Hervey D. Vories.
