Parsons, William Wood, 1850-1925.
William Wood Parsons was born in Terre Haute, Ind., and was one of the first graduates of the Indiana State Normal School there in 1872. In 1876 he returned to the school to work, and served as professor, vice president and president. The Normal School is now Indiana State University.
