George Herbert Walker Bush (1924-2018) was Vice President of the United States from 1981 to 1989 and the 41st President of the United States from 1989 to 1992. He was born on June 12, 1924, in Milton, Massachusetts, to Dorothy Walker Bush and Prescott Bush (who was a Republican Senator from Connecticut from 1952 to 1962).
