Sylvester S. and Margaret Forney had two sons born to them in Kansas and one survived. Ross Huber (R. H.) Forney was the second son born on Sept. 11, 1890 in Kansas. Sylvester started out farming and by 1910 he was a shoemaker that owned his own shop in Lawrence, KS. R. H. attended and graduated from the University of Kansas. By 1920, R.
