Alice C. Young papers, 1973-1988.

Correspondence, minutes, agendas, reports, printed materials, photographs and artifacts make up the papers of Alice C. Young. The collection is organized into two series. Series I: Georgia State University Professional papers includes reading files; materials relating to the many professional, GSU-related, and community organizations to which Young belonged; and records about her interests on campus, including returning and non-traditional students, leadership and management. Finally, the series contains a number of widely assorted subject files. Series II: Unitarian Universalist Congregation of Atlanta Records reflects Young's long-time commitment to her church. The bulk of the files were removed from binders (Presidency binder, general notebook, Selection Committee binder), compiled during her service to the church. Artifacts have been separated and largely include pinback buttons and name tags from professional conferences.
