Minerva Collins Wellington, of Hindman, Kentucky, was the first woman to graduate with a degree in Agriculture from the University of Kentucky. She attended UK from 1908 to 1911, when she received her Bachelor of Science degree. Ms. Collins was Vice-president of the Neville Literary Society, as well as Secretary of the Senior Class of 1911.
