Original and typewritten copies of letters from U.S. Senator Henry Cabot Lodge (1850-1924) to his lawyer and friend, William C. Endicott (1860-1936). Topics discussed include personal and legal matters, politics, and current legislation, in particular Lodge's position in favor of the Soldiers' Adjusted Compensation Bill. Also included are letters from Endicott to Professor Claude M. Fuess regarding Lodge's letters, and correspondence among Endicott, John E. Lodge, and Bishop William Lawrence regarding Lawrence's biographical work on Lodge.
