Papers of Christopher Gore, U.S. senator and governor of Massachusetts, include a stock dividend receipt; certificates of commission appointments; and a series of letters, one addressed to James T. Austin, concerning the death and estate of Vice-President Elbridge Gerry. Letters also describe the progress of a Gore-sponsored senate bill to secure financial support for Gerry's widow, Ann Thompson Gerry.
